And it is my dream and mission to share that secret with the world. What is this secret, you ask? Well...it's SURRENDER!
When we can learn to surrender to the Creator God who made us (and is STILL making us) in EVERY season of our lives, that is when we find true freedom and JOY in the kaleidoscope of our own existence. We can finally let go of our insecurities and feeling ashamed of our bodies by going with the flow and embracing the beautiful moment that is our life!

I'M A BOUDOIR PHOTOGRAPHER AND MAMA OF THREE WHO LOVES CAPTURING ALL LIFE'S cOLORS
Growing up in Dallas, Texas, I had low self-esteem and was afraid to truly be myself around others for fear that they'd reject me. I grew up like most girls, thinking that they had to change or add to themselves to be beautiful and accepted. The names I was called by peers and family members alike, the rejection and abandonment that I went through, ALL of it contributed to how I felt about and saw myself.
My vision was skewed! But God...He stepped in and helped me to see myself in a different light. First through Holy Spirit Filled friends who prayed over me and showed me my worth time and time again, then through my husband!
Over the years, I've come to realize that beauty is not how I look on the outside, but it's WHO I AM. Now I dedicate my life and my business showing other women that they, too, are beautiful no matter where they are in life or what they've been through.
WHY KALEIDOSKOPE?
The word kaleidoscope is actually derived from the Greek language. It is three Greek words molded together: Kalos, Eidos, and Skopeo. Together these words mean Beautiful Forms to Behold.
I chose this name for my business because that is EXACTLY what you are Mama!
The other amazing thing is that when looking through a kaleidoscope, the shapes and colors change as you turn and change directions.
So just like a kaleidoscope, we too are always changing, but we are ALWAYS beautiful.

Do I Have to wear lingerie to my boudoir session?
You most definitely DO NOT have to wear lingerie to your session! In fact, I encourage all of my clients to bring a flowy dress, button up, or cardigan to start the session off with some conservative beauty portraits.

are there any images included in the experiences?
The experiences do include images! Each experience has it's own set price, and number of images included. However, clients can choose if they want to purchase more images or products during their slideshow viewing appointment.

Do you accept payment plans?
Of course! Payment plans are actually encouraged. Here at Kaleidoskope Portraits, we understand that this experience is an INVESTMENT. We have had women from all walks of life take advantage of our awesome payment plans!
